Exchange 2003 2007 

I have a mailbox of a user who doesn't work here any more. And now I want to de-attach here mailbox from here account and re-attach it to another account.
I've seen the other sugestion in this subject but that doesn't work with me.
Is there somebody who knows witch steps i have to take.

Do you see the de-attached mailbox in Exchange System Manager? At what stage does the re-attachment process fail?
If you are not seeing the de-attached mailbox, you might want to run the clean up agent which should force the process a little quicker.
You might also want to check the deleted mailbox retention period, ensure it is not set to zero or a low value.

I know what i did wrong. I didn't delete the account of the user. And now after deleting the account i can re-connect the mailbox to another account.
