Address template changes addressing in my site

I and other sites have had their addressing changed to a template address.  We fix it by exporting all the users and changing back the SMTP and X400 addresses to what they should be.

However I notice in my Queues i have system emails for
    servername-IS@templateaddress

My question is where do I find the Information Store mailbox for each of my servers so I can change the address back to the correct one?
The actual problem is with MS PSS but as a local site admin I want to know how to correct this -IS address domain.

    One the queue it gives O=, OU=,cn=configuration, cn=servers,cn= ,cn=MSPubMDB

    Hi Chris,

Why aren’t the template addresses in your recipient policies the same as the ones you say should be the correct address? Are you hosting email for different companies, If so you should look at creating multiple recipient policies and modifying their LDAP filter scope so they apply stamp the correct addresses on the right account/mailbox.

This address is associated with a public folder, to find and modify you will need to use ADSIEdit.

Doing what you suggest above will not fix your problem, as the addresses are required to be associated/follow the recipient policy. This could cause problems with public folder message replication/flow. You will be better off configuring your recipient policies correctly, to correctly stamp addresses.

If you require assistance configuring your recipient polocies I am more than happy to give you some pointers and help.

    Regards
