Last week Hoang Anh and I headed over to one our favorite eating places in Sydney, Dong Ba Bun Bo Hue in Bankstown, as the name suggests their specialty is Bun Bo Hue or Spicy Vietnamese Noodle Soup. Bun Bo Hue is the lesser known cousin to Pho in the western world, but in Vietnam, and in my opinion it’s as popular at the mighty Pho. If you have never tried Bun Bo Hue like a little spice, I defiantly recommend giving it a try, and if you live in Sydney Dong Ba in either Bankstown or Cabramatta is a must, I rate their Bun Bo Hue as the best in Australia, and better than the majority found in Vietnam. Best in Australia is a big title, but trust me I am married to a Vietnamese lady and we have tried Vietnamese food all over Vietnam and Australia.
