This being the first post to my new blog, I want to outline what I hope to achieve, the types of posts you will see from me and a bit about my background. I along with many find the concept of making money online a fulfilling and exciting idea, whether it be earning a little extra to help pay for the next holiday, to pay off that mortgage a little quicker, or make a million in the next year. I am sure if you are reading this post its something you inspire to as well. The great thing is that all of these goals are achievable; all you need to do is think about something you like doing or are good at, devote a little time everyday blogging about this subject or subjects then use methods outlined in my blog along with other blogs and you will achieve most if not all of your goals. My methodology for this blog and posts to this blog is to write based on R eal World Examples , so for instance, I will write posts outlining methods techniquies and changes that I am currently using on this site along with other sites that I own, that way you can see what really works, you can evaluate if they are appropriate on your site and if appropriate give them a go. My methodology for writing from real world examples came about from my first website ExchangeIS.com which I created to provide the Microsoft Exchange Server Community Articles, News and Discussions about Microsoft Exchange Server, within 3 months of starting this website, it was linked to by Microsoft.com an many other leading technical websites. Many of the articles I wrote were and are still ranking in the top 5 for their keyword area. In January 2006 I was awarded the Microsoft MVP award for my contributions to the Exchange Server community, this was a great honour, and just shows how anyone can achieve their goals if you put your mind to it.
