The main points of the post are:

Add registry key to enable HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Exchange DWORD key ContentFilterState Value 1.

The last 3 IMF data and binary files are kept on the server.

This feature is only available for Exchange Servers with Exchange 2003 SP2 installed and enabled.

IMF updates will be made available twice a month on the first and third Wednesday of every month
-
IMF update can presently be applied manually or via Automatic Update but will be made available in the future for WSUS and SMS.
